Usually when I have a business trip which calls for me to be out of town for an extended period, I’ll set up my blog with lovely posts for you each day. However; this time I didn’t. Partly due to laziness and partly due to how chaotic my life is at the moment.

I will be in the DC area through the end of the week. It’s for a training that I’m really excited for but I’m also trying to coordinate an evening in DC at least one day. This is my third work trip in the area and I haven’t taken advantage (and the last time I spent time in DC was 1998!).

I will also be in DC on 9/11 this year. It will be bittersweet for some folks I’m traveling with as they were across from the Pentagon at a conference on 9/11/01.

Once I return, I promise more posts. I’ve been revamping things – I changed my title to “Take These Chances” which if you could tell me which song it’s from without looking it up – I will love you forever! Hint, it’s a Dave Matthews Band song (of course). And I have a tumblr and I always update my twitter (friend me!).

It’s funny because anytime I take a plane ride, I have these lofty goals of reading a book or finally listening to all the cool tunes on my i-Pod. Inevitably I spend my time reading stupid magazines that I purchase at the airport! Anyone else do that? I can’t be the only one.
