To be completely honest with you, even though I’ve had my blog for a while now, there are a couple of things I’ve been still trying to figure out. One of them being my voice – what’s the main focus here? Mainly it’s just random blabberings of my life…
But that’s not what I’m writing about today.
The second thing that has perplexed me is commenting. Some blogs I read have nifty little threads of comments where you can follow someone who posts a comment or question and the author writes back for all to see. Why can’t I do that here? WordPress confuses me sometimes (and I typically pride myself on how quickly I can figure out things like this). All my comments were email form – I could never have a thread.
Cue Sunday night fixing up the ol’ blog time. In my sweatpants because suddenly summer just up and left and now it’s practically winter IN SEPTEMBER. Ahem. I updated books I’ve read or am reading and all that. Then I go play around on my dashboard and VIOLA! All I had to do was click a check box allowing threaded comments! It was that easy.
With that said – my comments will be threaded – yay! And I do appreciate every single comment I receive. I’m mostly a lurker who will write a comment when I’m truly compelled to or I feel a connection. But I hope to comment more because I love that feeling when you read something that a reader has left and I want you all to feel the warm fuzzies!
(And if anyone needs help figuring out comments in WordPress, let me know. I’ll hook a sister up!)

I love leaving and receiving comments. But I never go back to blogs to read threads. If I want to reply to a comment someone left on my blog, I email them. It’s easier and I know they’ve received it.
